Recycling

Prince Edward County offers recycling opportunities at all seven of the County's manned convenience centers. Materials currently accepted are:

• newspaper
• plastic containers (Types 1-7)
• cardboard
• clear glass
• scrap metal, including refrigerators and freezers

In addition, the County also has newspaper and plastic recycling containers at the Wal-Mart Super-Center in Farmville.

Recyclables are taken by the County to the following locations for processing:
