At its May 8th meeting, the Prince Edward County Board of Supervisors recognized the accomplishments of the Prince Edward County Debate and Forensics Team.
The Forensics Team competed in VHSL regionals at Goochland High School and placed 4th in the region and then advanced to the super-regionals at R.E. Lee High School.
The Debate Team traveled to Hidden Valley High School for regionals and placed 2nd out of 14 teams from VHSL groups 1,2,3, and 4. Four team members also competed in the Student Congress.
