Prince Edward County Girls Indoor Track Team Awards Recognized

 

Prince Edward County High School Girls Indoor Track Team with the Board of Supervisors

At its May 8th meeting, the Prince Edward County Board of Supervisors recognized the athletic achievements of the Prince Edward County Girls Indoor Track Team.

The team finished third overall in the 2018 Virginia High School League 2A State Championships.  Additionally, the relay team of Jordan Booker, Naomi Jones, Mia Seay and Monteria Wynn won the 2018 State Championship in the 4 x 400 meter relay at Roanoke College with a time of 4:20.  This is their second State Championship as this same relay team won the same event in Outdoor Track last year.
