The Prince Edward County Board of Supervisors
meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Board of Supervisors Room in the County Courthouse, 111 South Street, Third Floor, Farmville.

The Prince Edward County Planning Commission meets the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Board of Supervisors Room in the County Courthouse, 111 South Street, Third Floor, Farmville.

 

 

 


CHANGE OF DATE:    The Prince Edward County Board of Supervisors
will hold a Budget Work Session, Adoption of the County and School Budgets and Tax Rates, Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the Board of Supervisor's Room, 111 South Street, Third Floor, Farmville, Virginia.

 

 


The Prince Edward County Board of Supervisors
will hold a public hearing Tuesday, May 10, 2016 in the Board of Supervisors Room, Third Floor, Prince Edward County Courthouse, 111 South Street, Farmville, Virginia. The purpose of this hearing is to receive citizen input prior to the Board of Supervisors making appointments to the Prince Edward County School Board for Leigh District #301 (Jerry R. Townsend, Supervisor) and Buffalo District #501 (C. Robert Timmons, Jr., Supervisor). Nominees submitted by the respective Citizen Committees are:
          Leigh District #301: Timothy W. Corbett, Sr., M.D.
  Wayne E. McWee, Ed.D.
          Buffalo District #501 Patricia A. Bobenrieth
  Wilkie W. Chaffin, Ph.D.
A copy of the Citizen Volunteer Application for each candidate is available for public review in the County Administrator's Office or by clicking the candidate's name, above. The appointments to the School Board will be made by the Board of Supervisors at its June 14, 2016 meeting.

 

 


The Prince Edward County Board of Supervisors
will hold a public hearing Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. in the Board of Supervisors Room, Third Floor, Prince Edward County Courthouse, 111 South Street, Farmville, Virginia, to consider amendments to the County's Subdivision Ordinance regarding subdivision road improvements and bonding requirements.
