Llewellyn W. Gilliam Jr. was born and raised in Prince Edward County. He graduated from Prince Edward Academy in 1976. He has been serving the community as a volunteer fire fighter for 44 years at the Darlington Heights Fire Dept. He has worked for Mid-Atlantic Irrigation Co., Inc since 1989 until becoming Owner and President of the company in 2011. His commitment to supporting the community and keeping Prince Edward Co. growing strong is what led him to run for election to the Board of Supervisors. Mr. Gilliam looks forward to having some spare time to work on his farm and spend time fishing with his grandchildren.
