Participation in the Virginia Association of Counties Conference -- Members of the Prince Edward County Board of Supervisors will be participating in the annual meeting of the Virginia Association of Counties, which will be held Sunday, November 10 through Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 7696 Sam Snead Highway, Hot Springs, VA.  For additional information, please contact the Prince Edward County Administrator’s Office at 434-392-8837.

 

The Prince Edward County Poplar Hill CDA will meet Thursday, November 7, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. in the Prince Edward County Administrator’s Office, 111 N. South Street, Third Floor, Farmville, Virginia.

 

Members of the Prince Edward County Board of Supervisors and Prince Edward County Planning Commission will be participating in public workshops for the update of the County’s Comprehensive Plan.  These meetings are open to the public and the public is encouraged to attend. JOINT PUBLIC NOTICE:  In accordance with the requirements of CFR, Title 42, Chapter 116, the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA), the Farmville-Prince Edward Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) provides public notice of the availability of information regarding chemical and hazardous materials and emergency response plans.  This information is available for public review in the Prince Edward County Administrator’s Office, 111 South Street, 3^rd Floor, Farmville, VA and the Farmville Fire Department, 1000 West Third Street, Farmville, VA.

Comprehensive Plan Meetings

The Prince Edward County Tourism Council meets on the third Wednesday of every other month at 9:00 a.m. at the Heartland Regional Visitor Center, 121 East Third Street, Farmville, Virginia 23901.
